Azerbaijan, EU pledge to deepen political dialogue, cooperation
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss a range of issues of mutual interest.
The two officials focused on the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, with particular attention to regional and international security matters, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
The conversation highlighted the significant potential for further strengthening bilateral ties, emphasizing the importance of deepening political dialogue. Both sides agreed that fostering such dialogue, including through reciprocal visits, would be essential in addressing key issues on the agenda.
In addition to their discussions on political and security matters, Bayramov and Kallas exchanged views on other topics of shared concern, further underscoring the ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
The phone talk marks a continued effort to enhance the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, with a focus on addressing security challenges and reinforcing ties in the region.
