Azerbaijan's reservists sharpen skills in intensive field training session VIDEO

As part of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry’s annual training plan, a field training session for reservists was successfully conducted at one of the special purpose military units, in partnership with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.

The session, which focused on enhancing the operational readiness of reservists, concluded with a series of practical exercises and training activities designed to improve both individual and team skills, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.

Throughout the training, participants were provided with valuable educational sessions, including enlightening talks on military protocols and safety procedures. Additionally, cultural events were organized to ensure effective leisure time and promote a well-rounded experience for the reservists.

In the practical classes held at the training center, the reservists had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with small arms and various pieces of military equipment used by special forces units. They were trained in the proper handling and operational use of these weapons and equipment, followed by hands-on shooting exercises to test their proficiency.

As the training progressed, the reservists also engaged in tactical and reconnaissance exercises. They completed various scenarios that tested their ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments. Tasks included withdrawing to designated areas, practicing covert group movements, approaching enemy facilities, setting ambushes, and conducting joint operations to capture simulated enemy equipment and personnel. These drills were designed to enhance the reservists’ tactical awareness, teamwork, and ability to respond effectively to real-world combat situations.
