Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss judicial reforms, strengthen legal collaboration
The Azerbaijani and Georgian delegations have discussed expansion of cooperation in the legal field.
A delegation headed by Chairman of the Azerbaijani Supreme Court and the Judicial-Legal Council Inam Karimov visited Georgia at the invitation of Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the Georgian High Council of Justice Nino Kadagidze, the Azerbaijani Supreme Court told Caliber.Az.
During the meeting at the Supreme Court of Georgia, Kadagidze highlighted the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries across various fields.
Karimov, for his part, emphasised that the high level of interstate relations provides ample opportunities for deepening cooperation in the legal sphere.
During the meeting, the Azerbaijani delegation provided information on the judicial and legal reforms being implemented in Azerbaijan. As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation also met with representatives of the Georgian High School of Justice. A meeting was held at the Georgian High Council of Justice with Georgian judges, where information about the activities of Azerbaijan's Judicial-Legal Council was presented.
