Azerbaijan, Georgia move to clear freight queues at border

Azerbaijan and Georgia are preparing measures to speed up border crossings amid a build-up of freight vehicles, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee said.

The move follows talks between the heads of the two countries’ customs services, held to address the congestion and improve the movement of cargo across the border, Caliber.Az reports.

The sides agreed to take the necessary measures to eliminate the queues and further accelerate border-crossing procedures.
