Azerbaijan identifies security guard who stopped armed assailant at embassy

The embassy employee who neutralized the criminal who committed an armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran has been identified.

This person is Vasif Taghiyev. He is married and has three children. Taghiyev is a native of Shusha city, according to Oxu.az.

During the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy, he neutralized the attacker.

Deceased senior lieutenant O. Asgarov is the son of chief physician of the United Children's Hospital #1 of Ganja city Rizvan Asgarov. He had two children.
