Azerbaijan imports $23.4 million worth of Russian chocolate in three months

Azerbaijan has ranked among the top three importers of Russian chocolate during the first quarter of 2025, according to data from the United Nations Comtrade platform, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Between January and March 2025, Azerbaijan imported $23.4 million worth of chocolate products from Russia, placing it second on the list. Kazakhstan topped the chart with imports totalling $78.3 million, while Uzbekistan followed Azerbaijan in third place with $21.4 million.

Other major importers of Russian chocolate during the reporting period included Kyrgyzstan ($14.7 million), Georgia ($8 million), and China ($7.4 million). Germany rounded out the top ten with imports amounting to $2.1 million.
