Azerbaijan, India discuss environmental protection

Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Sanjay Verma and Azerbaijani Environment and Natural Resources Minister Mukhtar Babayev discussed cooperation in the field of environmental protection.

The meeting included an exchange of views on the upcoming tasks within the "Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of India," Report informs.

The sides also discussed the current directions of cooperation between the two countries in the field of environmental protection and future prospects.
