Azerbaijan inks cooperation deal with Germany to uplift medical services in country PHOTO
A memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units of Azerbaijan (TABIB) and Sana Hospital Group, Germany.
The Memorandum was signed by TABIB's Executive Director Vugar Gurbanov and Falk Beratung's CEO Thomas Falk and Director International Sven Heininger, Caliber.Az reports, citing TABIB press service.
Deputy executive directors of TABIB Anar Israfilov and Araz Nasirov, heads of structural units of TABIB, Director of the Yeni Klinika Barat Yusubov, Head of the International Office of Sana Hospital Group Sven Heininger, Head of Public Relations Office of Falk Beratung Tobias Luck, representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Azerbaijan Heiko Schwartz and others attended the signing ceremony.
The Memorandum provides for the exchange of practice by Sana Hospital Group in hospital management in Yeni Klinika (Baku), attracting foreign patients, conducting joint clinical trials/studies, mutual professional improvement programs for doctors, nurses and administrative staff, obtaining ISO 9001 and/or JCI International Certificates, development and improvement of standards for training professional personnel in nursing, implementation of specialist exchange in order to improve medical services at the clinic and the right of using Sana brand.
Within the cooperation between TABIB and Sana Hospital Group, it is planned to bring medical services provided at the subordinate medical institution in line with international standards, improve the quality of medical services provided, increase the medical tourism potential of the Yeni Klinika and attract medical tourists to the country, develop personnel potential in the field of healthcare, implement innovative solutions and digitalization.
