Azerbaijan, Jordan discuss expanding healthcare cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Jordan have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector during a meeting between Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev and Jordan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Omar Barakat Al Nahar.
The talks focused on the current state of healthcare cooperation and opportunities to expand collaboration in areas including medical care, digital health, medical science, pharmaceuticals, and the exchange of expertise, Caliber.Az reports per Azerbaijan's Health Ministry press service.

Musayev said Azerbaijan and Jordan already cooperate in a number of fields and noted the potential to deepen ties in healthcare through medical education, the training of healthcare professionals, and scientific and practical cooperation.
Al Nahar highlighted the positive development of bilateral relations and said expanding cooperation in healthcare, increasing mutual visits, and implementing joint projects would benefit both countries.
The two sides concluded the meeting by expressing confidence that healthcare cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan would continue to develop.
