Azerbaijan, Malaysia strengthen cybersecurity cooperation
Azerbaijan's Electronic Security Service (ESS) and Malaysia's National Cyber Incident Response Centre (CERT) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
The agreement, signed online, is aimed at facilitating the exchange of experience and knowledge, as well as supporting the professional development of specialists in cybersecurity, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Under the memorandum, both parties will collaborate on preventing information security incidents, organising joint training sessions and seminars, sharing best practices, and implementing innovative solutions.
Officials highlighted that the memorandum marks a significant step in expanding the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Malaysia in information and cybersecurity, while also reinforcing mutual support in regional and global initiatives.
