Azerbaijan: Media tours organised on Armed Forces Day PHOTO/VIDEO

Azerbaijani journalists have visited various types of army troops, Defence Ministry departments and services and special educational institutions.

The media tours took place on the occasion of Armed Forces Day on June 26, the Defence Ministry said on its website.

As part of the media tours, journalists familiarized themselves with the organisation of military personnel's service and combat activities, as well as their social and living conditions and logistical support.

Journalists visited military units stationed on the liberated territories, as well as the Azerbaijan Army's combat positions along the state border, and met servicemen serving there.

Servicemen expressed satisfaction with the conditions created as a result of Azerbaijani President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev's attention and care, as well as pride in serving in the Azerbaijan Army.
