Azerbaijan negotiating with leading international manufacturers to launch new satellite

Azerbaijan's National Space Agency (Azerkosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is negotiating with leading international satellite manufacturers to launch a new Azerbaijani satellite.

“Negotiations will continue until the most suitable choice is made for our country and our clients. In general, thorough research is needed before the process of developing and commissioning a new satellite. Customers have requirements such as innovation, suitable prices, and after-sales support. These expectations are constantly changing and being updated," Azerkosmos officials told Report.

It is reported that at the same time, before launching a satellite into orbit, the economic and non-economic benefits and advantages that our country can receive from the new satellite project in the future are being studied.
