Azerbaijan organises media tours on eve of Armed Forces Day PHOTO / VIDEO

The media tours have been organised for journalists to view the types of troops of the Azerbaijani Army on the eve of June 26 -  Armed Forces Day.

The journalists viewed the military personnel’s service and combat activity, as well as social-living conditions and material-technical supply as part of the media tours, Caliber.Az reports citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The journalists also visited one of the military units stationed in the liberated territories and met with servicemen serving there.

The servicemen expressed satisfaction with the conditions created as a result of the attention and care of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and highlighted their pride in serving in the Azerbaijani Army.

Day of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan is a holiday annually celebrated on June 26 in Azerbaijan upon the decree issued by Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.
