Azerbaijan, Pakistan agree to prepare MoU on vocational training PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Pakistan have agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in vocational training, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population (MLSPP) has stated.
The initiative was discussed during a meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Labour Minister Hidayat Abdullayev and Pakistan's Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Abdullayev said the strong friendship and brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan provide a solid foundation for expanding cooperation in the social sector.
The officials also explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration in labour migration, employment, vocational training and human capital development.
Qamar highlighted the considerable potential for broadening cooperation and exchanging expertise in vocational training, reaffirming Pakistan's interest in deepening bilateral ties in the field.
The two sides agreed to continue discussions on future cooperation, including the drafting of the vocational training memorandum.
