Azerbaijan performs first neurosurgery through latest generation microscope PHOTO
Head of the PR department of Azerbaijan’s Clinical Medical Centre Elnur Hidayatoglu has said that a neurosurgery operation was performed at the centre through a TIVATO 700 microscope for the first time in Azerbaijan, which is considered the most modern development in the field of medicine.
“A microscope manufactured by the German ZEISS company was first used in Georgia among the Caucasus countries,” Hidayatoglu told Report.
“Azerbaijan has also acquired such equipment, which is used in the Clinical Medical Centre. From now on, the most complex brain and spine surgeries in our country will be carried out in this centre,” he noted.
It is possible to perform the surgeries with the least damage and increase the target up to 3,000 times thanks to a device capable of obtaining high-quality images during surgeries.
During surgeries, it is possible to take photos or videos and transfer images to memory and live. These are the unique characteristics of the equipment.
The first neurosurgery through TIVATO 700 microscope at the Clinical Medical Centre was successful.
The centre is equipped with the latest technological equipment due to the opportunities created by the Azerbaijani State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance.
