Azerbaijan prevents drugs smuggling from Iran in border area PHOTO

The Azerbaijani State Border Service prevented the smuggling of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan on the service territory of the border detachment "Horadiz" on the evening of April 4.

As a result of the operational measures, 16 kg of marijuana and 1300 tablets with psychotropic content "Methadone M-40" were found and seized, the service told Caliber.Az.

Operational and investigative measures are ongoing in connection with this issue.
