Azerbaijan prioritises employment on liberated territories Photo
Providing jobs for citizens returning to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories remains a central priority for the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, according to Deputy Minister Vusal Nasirli.
Speaking at a meeting with representatives of companies operating in formerly occupied regions, Nasirli said that employment programmes—carried out with the active involvement of employers—are steadily expanding, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The meeting brought together officials from a range of government bodies and organisations, including the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, the Social Development Fund for IDPs, the Centre for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication, the Mine Action Agency, and the State Water Resources Agency.
Representatives from several major companies also attended, including Azerbaijan Airlines, Clean City, Azerishiq, Azerenerji, SOCAR, TƏBIB, Euroline, Elta Development, and Safe Point.
Participants discussed ongoing employment initiatives targeting those already living in, or planning to relocate to, the liberated regions. The talks also outlined steps to enhance inter-agency cooperation aimed at boosting the effectiveness of ongoing efforts.
