Azerbaijan prioritizes human health investments during COP29 chairmanship

Yalchin Rafiyev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan and Lead Negotiator for COP29, affirmed Azerbaijan's commitment to prioritizing investments in human health during its tenure as chair of the upcoming climate conference.

Rafiyev emphasized the broadening of COP29 agenda to encompass crucial issues, with a specific focus on enhancing human health outcomes, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

"Human health is an integral component of our agenda for COP29," he stated, underscoring Azerbaijan's proactive approach towards integrating health considerations into global climate strategies.
