Azerbaijan provides 143 apartments to January 20 victims and martyrs’ families

To date, 143 apartments have been provided to persons with disabilities incurred as a result of the events of January 20, as well as to the families of January 20 martyrs.

According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, cited by Caliber.Az, approximately 100 vehicles have been provided to persons with disabilities during the past period.

In addition, as part of the social reforms implemented this year, the monthly presidential allowance for families of martyrs has been increased to 700 manats.

The allowance for persons with disabilities due to the events of January 20 has been increased to 600 manats for those with 81–100 per cent loss of bodily functions, to 500 manats for those with 61–80 per cent loss, and to 400 manats for those with 31–60 per cent loss. Disability allowances have also been increased and set at 300, 250, and 180 manats, respectively.

The monthly presidential care allowance for persons with disabilities with 81–100 per cent loss of bodily functions has been increased to 120 manats.
