Azerbaijan’s leading carrier strengthens global network this winter updated schedule

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), a member of AZCON Holding, has increased the number of flights on more than 20 international routes as part of its winter timetable.

The enhanced schedule includes additional flights to cities such as London, Barcelona, Milan, Male, and several others.

According to Caliber.Az, citing AZAL’s press service, the airline has strengthened its operations on key routes across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia beginning at the end of October 2025.

Under the 2025–2026 winter schedule, flight frequencies have been increased on the following routes compared with the 2024–2025 season:

• Milan, Mumbai, Delhi, Chisinau, and Tashkent – seven flights per week (previously three to five per week);

• Almaty, Jeddah, and Astana – five flights per week (previously two to four);

• Barcelona, London (Gatwick), and Riyadh – four flights per week (previously up to three);

• Bishkek, Dushanbe, Male, and Beijing – three flights per week (previously two);

• Samarkand and Urgench – two flights per week (no flights were operated on these routes last season).

The increased frequency supports the expansion of transfer options through Heydar Aliyev International Airport, offering more opportunities for travellers using Baku as a convenient hub between East and West. The updated schedule is designed to improve passenger comfort through optimised connections and adjusted departure and arrival times.

Tickets are available for purchase on AZAL’s official website, through the mobile app, at ticket offices, and from accredited Azerbaijan Airlines agencies.
