Azerbaijan's migration balance shows net gain in first half of 2024

In the first six months of 2024, Azerbaijan registered a net migration gain, the State Statistics Committee reports.

During this period, 1,487 individuals arrived in Azerbaijan for permanent residence, while 1,171 people left the country, Caliber.Az reports per the State Statistics Committee.

The Interior Ministry and the State Migration Service documented these movements, resulting in a migration balance of 316 people, indicating more arrivals than departures.
