Azerbaijan’s military prosecutors visit border guards, honor their service PHOTO
The leadership of Azerbaijan’s Military Prosecutor’s Office has visited State Border Service (SBS) personnel to mark the 107th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan’s Border Service.
Officials visited an SBS hospital and military units where border guards are serving to congratulate personnel on the occasion, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Military Prosecutor’s Office.
During the visits, representatives of the prosecutor’s office highlighted Azerbaijan’s achievements under President Ilham Aliyev, including the development and strengthening of the Armed Forces and the country’s victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. They also emphasized the state’s attention to and support for military personnel.
Officials were briefed on the treatment of servicemen at the hospital and the conditions in which border guards are carrying out their duties.
The Military Prosecutor’s Office said such visits are conducted regularly and are intended to support the morale and psychological well-being of military personnel.
Azerbaijan’s State Border Service plays a key role in safeguarding the country’s state borders. The prosecutor’s office noted that attention from law enforcement agencies to border guards forms part of broader state efforts to provide social support to military personnel.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, servicemen were presented with holiday gifts.
The border guards expressed gratitude to the country’s leadership for the conditions provided for their service and for the attention and care shown to them.
