Azerbaijan's top cleric to speak on faith and religious site protection at Astana summits
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, is set to visit Kazakhstan this month to participate in a series of high-profile religious and interfaith events.
According to domestic media, Pashazade will deliver a speech at a joint meeting of the UN Alliance of Civilisations and the Astana Congress on September 16, focusing on the protection of religious sites.
The following day, September 17, he will take part in the 8th Astana Congress of World and Traditional Religions, where he is scheduled to address delegates on issues related to faith, dialogue, and global religious cooperation.
On September 18, the chairman of the CMO will engage with the next generation of spiritual leaders at the Forum of Young Religious Leaders, sharing insights and experiences aimed at fostering mutual understanding and leadership in religious communities.
