Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are presented with the organisational support of the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau at the International Mediterranean Travel Market (IMTM 2024) exhibition held in Tel Aviv.
Azerbaijan is represented at the exhibition by six organisations, including Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC and Shahdag Tourist Centre, the State Tourism Agency has informed Azertag.

The Azerbaijani stand introduces guests to the country's ancient history, rich national cuisine, folk traditions, cultural heritage, UNESCO World Heritage sites, innovative Slow Food and Slow Wine projects. Visitors can also get detailed information about various tourism opportunities in Azerbaijan and learn about Azerbaijan's ancient Jewish heritage, which testifies to the uniqueness and diversity of the country's cultural landscape. Guests are also invited to taste national sweets and Azerbaijani wines.
Meetings with representatives of the tourism industry in Israel and other IMTM 2024 participating countries, as well as interviews with media representatives, are being organised as part of the exhibition, which will run until April 4.
A total of 29,093 tourists from Israel visited Azerbaijan in 2023.
