Azerbaijan sends first humanitarian aid convoy to Syria PHOTO/VIDEO

Azerbaijan has dispatched its first humanitarian aid convoy to Syria, aimed at supporting the population in need, following an order from President Ilham Aliyev.
The convoy, comprising 10 trucks, is carrying around 200 tonnes of food supplies, according to a statement from the Aykhan Hajizada, Head of the Press Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Speaking to the media, Hajizada confirmed that the aid would travel from Azerbaijan to Syria via Georgia and Türkiye, with the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) overseeing the distribution of the goods in Syria's war-torn Idlib region.
