Azerbaijan sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine PHOTO
On July 5, the executive office of Azerbaijan's Sumgayit city is sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine, consisting of food, household and medical supplies.
The humanitarian cargo includes products with a long shelf life (canned food, cereals, dry food, etc.), as well as baby food, medicines and clothing, Caliber.Az reports.
The humanitarian cargo, which will be delivered by plane to Warsaw Airport, was sent from Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 10:00 Baku time on July 5 with the participation of the Ukrainian ambassador to our country and representatives of the Sumgayit city executive office.
Humanitarian aid with a total weight of 50 tons was organised in response to the official appeal of Ukraine's Cherkasy region administration to the Sumgayit executive office and is intended for the needs of the Cherkasy city residents.
To recall, some time ago, information appeared in the media that Sumgayit will send humanitarian aid to Cherkasy.
