Azerbaijan, Serbia explore deeper cultural cooperation in Baku talks PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli has held talks in Baku with a Serbian delegation led by Culture Minister Nikola Selaković, the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry has said.

The two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the cultural sphere, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Officials noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia are developing on the basis of mutual trust and friendly ties between President Ilham Aliyev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

Karimli highlighted that the launch of direct flights by Air Serbia between Belgrade and Baku from 3 May would serve as an important step in strengthening cultural links.

The sides also exchanged views on potential joint projects and further areas of cooperation.
