Azerbaijan, Somalia set to expand cooperation across multiple sectors PHOTO
Somalia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev have discussed mutually beneficial areas of collaboration.
Rafiyev is on an official visit to Mogadishu, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Somalia’s foreign ministry noted that Azerbaijan and Somalia are planning to expand areas of cooperation.
The two sides also explored ways to deepen cooperation, broaden bilateral ties and reaffirm their commitment to developing a more productive partnership between the two countries.
According to the message of Somalia’s embassy in Türkiye on X, Somalia's State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ali Omar and Somalia's non-resident ambassador to Azerbaijan Fathudin Ali Mohamed greeted the high-level delegation led by Rafiyev at Mogadishu Aden Adde International Airport.
During his two-day visit, the Azerbaijani delegation is engaging with various Somalian officials and discussing a broad range of issues of mutual concern to both nations.
