Azerbaijan, Somalia to discuss key bilateral issues during deputy FM’s visit
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev has arrived in Somalia for an official visit.
According to the message of Somalia’s embassy in Türkiye on X, State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ali Omar and Somalia's non-resident ambassador to Azerbaijan Fathudin Ali Mohamed greeted the high-level delegation led by Deputy Minister Yalchin Rafiyev at Mogadishu Aden Adde International Airport, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
During his two-day visit, the Azerbaijani delegation will engage with various Somali officials and discuss a broad range of issues of mutual concern to both nations.
Earlier, Rafiyev and non-resident Ambassador of Somalia to Azerbaijan Fathudin Ali Mohamed discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, which took place in Baku, the two diplomats discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral diplomatic relations between Somalia and Azerbaijan.
The talks focused on fostering closer ties and enhancing cooperation between the two nations in various areas of mutual interest.
