Azerbaijan, Switzerland expand scientific, technical cooperation

The Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology (AzMI) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) have signed an agreement to expand scientific and technical cooperation.

The agreement provides for the exchange of theoretical and practical experience between AzMI and METAS, enhancement of measurement accuracy, and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening partnership ties, the Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology told Caliber.Az.

As part of the cooperation, joint research and innovation projects are planned.

The document also envisions organising seminars and training sessions, as well as joint activities in the fields of legal and industrial metrology.
