Azerbaijan-Türkiye education cooperation reaches new milestone with MoU signing PHOTO
As part of an official visit to Türkiye, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, met with Turkish Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, the Ministry of Science and Education announced.
During the discussions, the two officials explored prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in both general and vocational education, signaling a shared commitment to enhancing educational standards and professional development opportunities, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Building on this momentum, Karabakh University and Istanbul Technical University formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement was signed during Minister Amrullayev’s meeting with Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, (YÖK) in Türkiye.
The signing ceremony underscored the successful development of strategic partnerships and allied relations in higher education between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Officials praised the long-term, effective cooperation between universities in both countries, highlighting the tangible benefits of sustained academic collaboration.
