Azerbaijan, Türkiye hold joint electronic warfare drills in Baku Photo

Servicemen from the Azerbaijan Army and the Turkish Armed Forces participated in a joint tactical-special electronic warfare exercise held in Baku, Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry said.

The exercise was observed on May 8 by senior Azerbaijani defence officials, including Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, Caliber.Az cites the ministry.

According to the ministry, Hasanov and other officials were briefed on the exercise scenario, its stages, and the sequence of operational activities carried out during the drills.

The exercise focused on improving the theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities of military personnel in the field of electronic warfare and modern combat operations. Participants reportedly practiced coordination between different branches of the armed forces while applying advanced technologies and contemporary combat methods.

The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said the participating units successfully completed assigned tasks and achieved the objectives set for the exercise.

At the conclusion of the drills, the ministry’s leadership praised the combat readiness of the personnel and the performance of the units involved in the tactical-special activities.
