Azerbaijan, UN-Habitat discuss joint development projects in Karabakh PHOTO

Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) held talks on expanding cooperation on joint projects in the economic regions of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.

The meeting between Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture, and UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach also covered preparations for the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be hosted in Baku in May, Caliber.Az reports via the state committee.

Approximately 15,000 delegates have registered for the forum, demonstrating strong international interest. Officials emphasised that WUF13 will provide a critical platform to address global challenges in sustainable urban development and housing policy, alongside fostering collaboration on regional development initiatives.
