Azerbaijan unveils bold cybersecurity strategy at Dubai's GISEC Global 2025
Azerbaijan outlined its strategy for safeguarding critical infrastructure during the GISEC Global 2025 cybersecurity conference, which took place from May 6-8 in Dubai.
According to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, the conference saw participation from various experts in the field, Caliber.Az reports.
During his address at the event, held at the Dubai World Trade Center, Azar Akhadov, head of the State Service's Main Department, shared that Azerbaijan has implemented a series of comprehensive measures aimed at protecting its information systems, ICT networks, and automated management systems, which are integral to the country's critical infrastructure.
He also announced that Azerbaijan will host the CIDC-2025 international event on October 9-10 in Baku. The theme of this event will be “Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities,” and it will be organised by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security in collaboration with the State Security Service.
