Azerbaijan unveils number of foreign students in country

About 7,400 foreign and stateless persons from 101 countries studied in Azerbaijan's higher and secondary special education institutions in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The students were mainly from Türkiye, Iran, Georgia, Russia, Iraq, Nigeria, Syria, India, Pakistan, China, and other countries, Report informs citing Azerbaijani Education Ministry.

As a continuation of measures to promote and expand opportunities for foreign students to study in our country, last academic year portal.edu.az introduced a centralized E-Application Service (SIA/CAS: Study in Azerbaijan Centralized E-Application Service).
