Azerbaijan warns public of drone training flights near Baku

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has warned the public that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from the Azerbaijani Air Force will conduct training flights near Baku and the Absheron district on March 23 at approximately 16:00, as part of the country’s 2026 military training schedule.

As Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, officials emphasized that the drone activity is strictly routine and part of planned exercises.

Authorities urged residents not to panic, stressing that there is no reason for alarm.
