Azerbaijani, Armenian ambassadors in Italy engage in “Peace is Possible” dialogue
The ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Armenia to Italy, Rashad Aslanov and Vladimir Karapetyan, participated in a high-profile discussion titled “Peace is Possible,” convened under the auspices of Giorgio Bartolomucci, the founder and Secretary General of the Festival della Diplomazia club. The event drew approximately 150 scholars and students from a diverse range of Italian universities.
The Armenian Embassy in Italy shared details of the event on its official Facebook page, Caliber.Az reports.
Both ambassadors underscored the significant role played b US President Donald Trump in advancing peace efforts within the region. Reflecting on the Washington agreements, Ambassador Karapetyan asserted that the establishment of peace represents an irreversible reality that must never be reconsidered or undermined.
The dialogue was expertly moderated by Fabio Sokolovich, diplomatic advisor to the Mayor of Rome, who facilitated a thoughtful exchange among participants.
