Azerbaijani became member of Latvian Saeima

Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Work with Diaspora has said that ethnic Azerbaijani Amil Salimov started his activity as a member of the Latvian Saeima.

A 38-year-old Salimov, both parents of whom are Azerbaijanis, was born in Latvia and educated in this country, the Committee told Report.

Amil Salimov is also a former coordinator of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis living in the Baltic States for Latvia.
