Azerbaijani border guards detain Iranian drug dealer PHOTO

The border guards of the Goytepe border detachment of the Azerbaijani State Border Service noticed an unknown person illegally crossing the state border from Iran to Azerbaijan on March 6 at 19:50 (GMT+4).

The area was immediately cordoned off and the offender was detained by the border patrol, the State Border Service told Caliber.Az.

The investigative bodies revealed that detainee Aga Mohammed Tohid Mirmahabbatali, 41, is a citizen of Iran. Thus, six kilogrammes 275 grammes of drugs (four kilogrammes 995 grammes of methamphetamine, 1 kilogramme 280 grammes of marijuana) were found and seized.

The investigative measures are underway.
