The officers of the Southern Territorial Customs Administration of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee have revealed 6,388 grams of drugs in a bag of a bus passenger, which was traveling via the Nakhchivan-Baku route, at the Bilasuvar customs post.
Some 2,060 grammes of methamphetamine and 4,328 grammes of heroin were found in a bag with sweets and detergents, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
Two people who provided the bus passenger with drugs were detained, and their vehicle was inspected.
Around 1.640 grams of marijuana and 1.82 grams of opium, as well as two metal tubes presumably designed to use these drugs, were found in the car.
An investigation is underway into the case.
