Azerbaijani-descent Ukrainian army soldier killed in battle

An Azerbaijani-descent serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been killed in a battle in Ukraine.

Chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Region Congress of Azerbaijanis Vahid Tahmazov made the announcement, Report informs.

Elshad Agalarov, a native of Azerbaijan's Zangilan District, was a soldier of the "Georgian Legion" in Ukraine.

He was killed during the fighting in the Donetsk region.

Tahmazov stated that the organisation is currently considering the despatch of the deceased's body to Azerbaijan.
