Azerbaijani embassy building walls crack after Russian missile strike on Kyiv
26 June 2022 18:00
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Elmira Akhundova has said that cracks have appeared on the walls of the building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kyiv following a missile strike by the Russian troops on Kyiv.
"Our embassy is housed in a 1960s-era structure. This structure was formerly a kindergarten. It was then modified to meet the requirements of our embassy. It has already been hit by one missile. Two months ago, a powerful missile strike occurred near us. Our windows were also broken. But now the blow was closer, there was a stronger shock wave, several windows were broken, and wall cracks were aggravated. Thank God, all of our employees are safe," Trend quotes the ambassador as saying.
