Azerbaijani envoy, Moldova’s minister discuss expanding cultural cooperation, joint projects Photo
Azerbaijan is eager to strengthen cultural ties with Moldova, according to Azerbaijani Ambassador Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, following his meeting with the country’s Minister of Culture.
"I had a productive meeting with Moldova's Minister of Culture, Sergiu Prodan. We discussed the implementation of joint cultural projects," Bakhshaliyev wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.
Note that, diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova were established on May 18, 1992. Azerbaijan opened its embassy in Moldova on October 5, 2005, while Moldova inaugurated its embassy in Azerbaijan on November 1, 2005.
The relationship continues to be shaped by mutual cooperation in political, economic, and regional frameworks, including GUAM and Eastern Partnership initiatives.
