The “Study in Azerbaijan” international exhibition, featuring Azerbaijani higher education institutions, opened on April 6 at the Farabi Hub innovation centre of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in education and scientific research.
The opening ceremony was attended by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, alongside representatives from the academic communities of both countries, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Nearly 25 leading Azerbaijani universities are participating in the exhibition, offering prospective students information on study programmes, scientific research initiatives, academic mobility opportunities, dual-degree programmes, and grant support.
Minister Nurbek highlighted that the initiative builds on existing cooperation between the two countries, citing the success of the previous “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition in Azerbaijan, which resulted in the signing of numerous academic agreements.
Minister Amrullayev emphasised that educational partnerships strengthen bilateral ties and provide young people with expanded opportunities. He reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and enhancing programs for international students.
The exhibition will continue through April 7–8, providing visitors with the chance to consult directly with representatives from Azerbaijani universities.
