The Azerbaijani Army's military medical personnel sent to Türkiye continues operations in Kahramanmaras under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's instructions.
Azerbaijani military doctors, acting in interaction with representatives of the Turkish Health Ministry and Armed Forces, performed a total of 10 surgeries in the fraternal country, Caliber.Az reports citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
Moreover, the medical staff examined 98 victims of the earthquake and rendered outpatient care.
Meanwhile, the central office of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party [NAP] sent humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims.
As part of the aid campaign to Türkiye, 45 generators, 150 electric heaters, a large number of sets of warm clothes, bed linen, and winter shoes were sent as humanitarian aid to people affected by the disaster.
Furthermore, the oldest church of the Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Church of St. Archangel Michael, located in Baku collected the first batch of humanitarian aid bound for Türkiye.
With the support of volunteers, the head and staff of the Diocesan Department for Charity and Social Service delivered warm blankets, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, baby food, diapers and products for 50 people to the humanitarian aid collection point.
