Azerbaijani minister praises long-term partnership with Euronews during visit

The Azerbaijani Culture Ministry has held a meeting with a delegation led by Founder of ALPAC Capital investment company, which is the new Euronews owner, Pedro David. 

During the meeting, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli welcomed the guests and expressed satisfaction with the long-standing collaboration between the ministry and the TV channel, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

Karimli praised the production of videos by Euronews that highlight the centuries-old cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, including carpet weaving, mugham music (music, philosophy and a kind of meditation, which helps to uncover spiritual bases in people, having a healing effect on the soul and mind), and various traditions and customs.

He also noted the coverage of specific cultural projects, such as the "Kharibulbul" music festival in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city. During the discussion, the prospects for future cooperation were explored, emphasising the importance of creating and presenting documentaries on various aspects of Azerbaijani culture to an international audience.

Pedro David expressed gratitude for the warm reception and expressed confidence that the partnership between the TV channel and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture would continue thriving.
