Azerbaijani ministers visit Karabakh University Clinic PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev and Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev, have paid an official visit to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Karabakh University Clinic.
The guests first reviewed the main building of Karabakh University and were briefed on the institution’s educational and development strategy implemented by the university administration, Caliber.Az reports.
The delegation then toured the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, including classrooms, research and training laboratories, and the Simulation Centre.

They were informed in detail about the university’s practical training-focused educational opportunities and the conditions created for students’ professional development.
Afterwards, the ministers visited the Karabakh University Clinic, where they inspected departments, laboratories, modern medical equipment, and the organisation of healthcare services.
As part of the official program, Amrullayev and Musayev met with students, faculty members, and staff. Discussions focused on the development of medical education in the country, strengthening human resources in the healthcare system, training young doctors, and promoting scientific research.
During an interactive session, the ministers answered participants’ questions and outlined state priorities in education and healthcare reforms, emphasising the importance of youth professional development and the provision of high-quality medical education.
Officials underscored the role of Karabakh University in training highly qualified medical personnel in the region, the advantages of the “university-hospital” model, and efforts to build a modern healthcare and education system in Karabakh.

The guests also inspected student accommodation facilities at the university dormitory.
As part of the visit, they attended a musical program prepared by faculty and students of the university’s arts department.
