Azerbaijani Navy trains next generation of explosive disposal experts

On October 18, 2025, a regular graduation ceremony was held for the explosive ordnance disposal course at a military unit of the Azerbaijani Navy.

According to Caliber.Az, the event was attended by Navy Commander, First Rank Captain Shahin Mammadov, who highlighted the significance of the course and extended his best wishes to the participants for their future service.

During the ceremony, course participants spoke about the dangers posed by explosives, ammunition, and shells, emphasising the importance of promptly notifying the neutralisation team whenever hazardous objects are discovered.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the graduates, followed by demonstration exercises conducted by the maritime special forces units, showcasing their skills and training.
