Azerbaijani Separate Combined Arms Army holds command-staff exercises PHOTO

The separate combined arms army held commander training sessions in order to improve the knowledge and skills of commanders of battalions, divisions, and their deputies in the military art, management of units, and taking the right decisions in the performance of combat tasks.

Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that the officers took part in practical lessons on the themes "Methodology of briefing guard personnel in guard compound", "Organization and conduct of tactical exercises of live fire with artillery division", and also trained exercises on shooting from small arms.

During the exercises, the officers observed special-purpose units capturing enemy targets located on high ground.

Theoretical lessons at the Training Centre included lectures on law, logistics, state secrets, and moral and psychological training.

Finally, the officers were given unit management and combat readiness assignments.
