Azerbaijani top officials honour memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev PHOTO/VIDEO
A number of Azerbaijani officials and institutions visited the Alley of Honour to pay their respects to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, on the anniversary of his passing on December 12.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, along with the leadership and staff of the Prosecutor's Office, visited the Alley of Honour to pay their respects. They laid flowers at the grave of Heydar Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports via the prosecutor's office.
The memory of the renowned ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honoured with flowers laid at her grave.
Similarly, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Health visited the Alley of Honour, where they too paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev by placing flowers at his resting place. They also honoured the memory of Zarifa Aliyeva, laying flowers at her grave.
In addition, employees of the State Security Service (SSS) commemorated Heydar Aliyev’s legacy.
On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of his passing, the Chief of the State Security Service, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, along with staff members, visited the Alley of Honour.

They paid their respects by laying bouquets of flowers on the graves of Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva, reflecting their deep respect for the great leader and his lasting impact on Azerbaijan’s development.
